We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy Welcome Book in the house full of dining options, Things to Do, available shopping, Hiking and Waterfall Trails. ! And a short 25 min drive to Helen for tubing or zip lining. An abundance of wineries and live music events.
There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters... The fellas will help you out! All kinds of water toys too like jet skis, stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks Lake Chatuge below and provides picturesque mountain views. Shooting Creek Overlook is breathtaking. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Jackrabbit Mountain and Chatuge Dam. Both Towns County (Hiawassee GA) and Clay County (Hayesville NC) have super parks and beaches. LOFT Level- Features 2 Twin beds (BDR3) and bath with single vanity and tub/shower combo.
Basement Level- Another large master (BDR4) with 2 queen beds and a couch with seating area. Ensuite bath with single vanity and walk-in tub. Additional bath with single vanity and tub/shower combo.
Parking : 4-5 cars on upper driveway and 2 on lower driveway. A boat trailer can be parked in the driveway. All parking is paved.
This home has level, easy paved access directly to covered dock on Lake Chatuge. In summer months you can swim off of the dock which has a ladder. Boat parking is included with rental under covered dock. Dock has lights for night use.
