Summary: Me and my husband stayed in room 10 and we had a tough night. It started with a confusing check-in, in a poorly lit alley under flickering lights at 9:30 at night ( Look for the email they send you with check in instructions that require a hoop to jump). We had finally got into the room and the room was dreadfully hot (we are used to heat we live in Joshua tree). The fan remote was missing for our stay and the AC was off. The AC randomly turned off by itself 3 times during the night of our stay. The kitchen area was horrendously hot ( plus side I didn’t know there was a kitchenette when I booked) these units have an OLD small wall AC that doesn’t circulate through to the whole unit. There was no toilet paper so we had to ask another room who was at the pool if they had an extra since staff isn’t around. We had no soap and the shampoo bottle was empty. We also found two dead roaches and one alive and I have pictures of that. ( there is still a dead roach behind the brown chair in room 10 as I was too grossed out to grab it). We went swimming to give the AC time to cool the room down but pool was bath water warm, not clean and the pool does not look like the ad AT ALL!! Missing canopies, one sad pool noodle, amenities were unkept and DIRTY. Saw Someone collapse by the pool, no staff around to help. We went back inside and slept on top of the bedding (must say your beds are comfortable) but we could see the mattress and box spring was stained. Hate that I had to write this!
