Positive: Location. Handy for everything. There are more restaurants than you could ever need a short walk along the beach front. Peaceful. Although central, still very quiet. Parking. Always important and excellent here. Right outside. Spacious (for 2) probably still ok for family of 4. Outside patio spacious and well equipped. The little gate into patio. Always produced a smile (you need to see it to understand) Arrival and departure process slick and flexible. Very important. Would totally recommend
Negative: These are not serious and probably you wouldn't encounter them. We had very windy weather for almost the entire 14 days. No one's fault!!!! But during our travels, even locally, other locations were better protected. This was January so probably not always a problem. But sitting on the patio in nice sunshine with a howling ( literally) gale is not much fun. This was booked through booking.com, then there was the local agency then the owner. I like to deal only through booking.com for all communication keeps all information in one place. Had a sewage smell problem over a few days. No real communication during resolution. Still not sure if it just went away. Could not get safe to work. Simple instructions would have helped. After a bit of tooing and froing we all seemed to give up. Still not working.
