Darling Downtown Delight is named for exactly what it is--Darling and Delightful in the great downtown area of Pensacola! You'll love this precious little cottage and we've tried to add all the touches of home so you'll be relaxed and enjoying everything about your stay! The bright blue door welcomes you, and as you enter you'll see the home has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. Our master has a king bed, and the second bedroom has full over full bunks.
We've made this space calming and clean, so you can relax to the max! The kitchen has all the appliances you need, and is stocked with basics so you can cook for your crew. The dining table seats four, but feel free to use the outdoor table and chairs also if the weather permits. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the guest room has a full over full bunk bed set. The living room also has a couch that could sleep one person.
We will send check in instructions to your Airbnb inbox the morning of your arrival. You will be given a lock box code or keypad combo to access the home! Check in is always 3pm or later, and checkout is strictly 11am.
You'll have access to the entire home and yard/grounds, for the entire duration of your trip. No parts of the home are shared!
I am always just a phone call away! I give guests their privacy, but if you need me you will have my direct cell phone number and don't hesitate to call! I'm always happy to meet our guests and I can occasionally arrange rides to/from the Airport if my schedule permits.
This neighborhood has so many great places within walking distance. Just around the corner you'll find a great little local Italian cafe, the East Hill Market, shops and other food options. There are definitely parks nearby, and you're just a couple of minutes to the center of downtown. **Please understand this is in the DOWNTOWN area of Pensacola, and NOT in a subdivision...which means the housing around the area is all different and you will see people walking around. It is in an urban/city area, not out in the country or secluded subdivision.**
This neighborhood is pretty walkable, with quite a few things within walking distance, but you can also catch a very affordable lyft or uber to head to the center of downtown. Driving is also perfectly acceptable.
Please understand this home is located near downtown Pensacola, towards the inner city. This is a great spot for adults wanting to experience the life of downtown, and be close to bars, restaurants, events, etc. It is NOT in a subdivision, and the neighborhood is a collection of all sorts of housing, some new construction, some older homes, some duplexes, etc. People frequently walk or ride bikes, and you'll see a variety of people out and about! Please understand what renting in a downtown area entails before booking our home!
We do start every stay with essentials like 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and hand soap. But after the initial supply has been used, it is up to the guest to replenish on their own. This is due to the differing lengths of stay. Please be aware we do NOT provide shampoo/conditioner/laundry soap.
***Note: We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 trash bags, hand soap for each sink, a bar of soap, and enough laundry detergent to do 1-2 loads of laundry, dish soap and dishwasher pods, and one roll of paper towels. If more supplies are needed, it is up to the guest to obtain those for their stay!
We do NOT provide shampoo/conditioner/bodywash.
