Positive: Great location, although Sat nav did take us further up the road than it actually is. 5-10 mins walk to beach, spar, chippy, Chinese, pizza shop and restaurants / pubs. Probably the cleanest property we've stayed in - couldn't fault anything & very well looked after. Plenty of cleaning utensils provided, kitchen spray, washing up liquid, hoover, brush, cloths, dishwasher tablets, detergent and softener. We never used the dishwasher and couldn't get the washer/dryer working properly. Great outdoor space for the kids to play in and seating area at front and back. We were a family of 5 with 3 kids 11, 7 & 5 (one who co-sleeps) and it was just ok but defo more suitable for 4 people (which it does say on the description) mainly due to kitchen space rather than anything else. Bedding was lovely and cosy, plenty of blankets and cushions too. The double bed in the master bedroom sloped a little so our child kept falling out - never normally happens. But swapped into the 2nd double bed and not a problem. Bedrooms were very light & airy & plenty of towels available. Tea towels, and kitchen foil also available. Lovely age appropriate welcome pack left, wine, biscuits, sweets, buckets & spades. Tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, pepper & vinegar all available. Lounge was lovely, comfy sofas, loads of books, games and colouring books available. All in all it was a great holiday - thanks for your hospitality!

Negative: Very little space in the kitchen, although this suited us as I didn't want to spend all holiday cooking, it is worth condidering. The fridge freezer is an undercounter one and there was only one 20cm wide cupboard space to store other food. We shifted pots and pans around and used the counter tops as extra storage. Couldn't get the washer/dryer working properly despite numerous attempts - may have just been us?! Bedroom windows would benefit from blackout blinds/curtains. Lovely and light in the day but would be nice to keep dark at night/early morning when wanting the kids to lie in 😆.
