Summary: Coco Rio is a small, simple hotel that feels more like staying at someone’s home than a traditional hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, and the staff was friendly, especially the front desk girls. I really loved the decoration. The hotel has character, and I especially liked the furniture. There are not many amenities, other than a small terrace/patio area where you can sit and relax. However, I appreciated that the room had a refrigerator and a kettle to heat water for tea. They also provided organic shampoo and body wash, which I appreciated because I prefer natural and organic products. The breakfast was the only disappointing part for me. It was inexpensive, but as a picky eater, I did not find it worth the extra cost. Don’t expect anything fancy. Overall, if you want a simple, quiet, well-located place and do not need many amenities, Coco Rio is a good option.
