Summary: Extremely disappointed for following reasons:- Booked continental breakfast for duration believing the property had a rooftop terrace available for our stay and breakfast. Learned on arrival when asking for breakfast service times that breakfast was no longer provided by the hotel. Not notified in advance of arrival despite booking 8 months before and not informed in any of our correspondence. A voucher was offered at a cafe, 5 min walk away for a pastry, hot drink, juice only - no savoury/fruit option - not the continental offering originally booked. Rooftop area no longer in use. Again not informed prior to arrival. Area not clean, pigeon droppings everywhere, all furniture stacked up, all plants dead, cushions filthy and stained. Space not fit for purpose - but we were told at reception it was available to use - even though not serving breakfast there anymore. During stay the lounge light fell from the ceiling and a replacement light was not provided so difficult to use the space anymore as too dark. The hotel WhatsApp business account used during our stay pictured breakfast on the rooftop which is misleading and inaccurate. The Hotels.com information and images used for this property listing are inaccurate and misleading. Booked this hotel specifically to be able to use the rooftop for relaxation and also for the inhouse breakfast. Very disappointed as we have used Hotels.com for years.
