Welcome to Woods of Lyndon! Located in the quiet Louisville area known as Lyndon, you will find our renovated 1930s cottage tucked away in a private, peaceful wooded setting. Previously a short term rental (prior to COVID), it is now a private residence that will make for a lovely Derby experience.
The main living area boasts an open floor plan with a comfortable seating area complete with large flat screen TV & free Wifi, large fully stocked kitchen and dining area with wet bar. Also on the main floor is the lovely master bedroom with full bath, an office that, with a murphy bed, comfortably doubles as a bedroom and another full bath with washer & dryer. Upstairs you will find a spacious sleeping loft that accommodates five with a private balcony overlooking the little red barn and beautiful wooded grounds. A small stocked pond nestled next to the cottage allows for fishing relaxation. The expansive deck on the lower level is large enough for family gatherings but private enough for romantic evenings.
Romana Park, adjacent to the property, provides the perfect walking trail to start your morning or end your day. Second only to its beauty is Woods of Lyndon's close proximity to all the attractions Louisville has to offer. We are just minutes from historic Churchill Downs, fine dining, shopping, Louisville's Bourbon Trail, and many museums including the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.
