This rustic country house was built by its owners and has been in the family since 1974. Much care has been put into making it a beautiful, relaxing, inspiring, and peaceful place. Enjoy the natural quiet, rhythms of the tides, the view of the bay with loons and egrets, sunsets and all. The house sleeps up to six comfortably with four bedrooms: one downstairs and three upstairs. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC and WiFi during your stay. We are located on the beautiful Taunton Bay in Sullivan, Maine, 45 minutes from Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor and 25 minutes from Acadia at Schoodic Point near Winter Harbor.
Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, including stove, refrigerator, dishwasher,
toaster, dishes and utensils for cooking and dining. There is a full laundry set up with washer and dryer in the second downstairs bathroom.
The deck overlooks the tidal bay and you may see and hear the loons in the evening. There is an access ramp to the water and a canoe and three kayaks.
