More than just a place to stay, this home is an immersive experience - a place to relax among evergreens, play cornhole on summer days, and spend starry evenings roasting s'mores around the gas fire table.
Located just half a mile from the city limits on the north side of Colorado Springs, this home is truly the best of all worlds. You'll feel perfectly secluded despite being a few minutes' drive from the La Foret Conference and Retreat Center, Children's Hospital, Memorial Hospital North, and an assortment of restaurants, shops, and markets on Route 21. It's a wonderful home base for visiting Flying Horse (five miles), the U.S. Air Force Academy (nine miles), Garden of the Gods (16 miles), and downtown Colorado Springs (17 miles) with a quiet respite to return to each evening.
The outdoor spaces are something special, between the open meadows, the serene pine forest draped with comfortable hammocks, and the fencing to keep your dogs safe. Horses are welcome to stay as well, with a barn available to house them while you are here! Sip your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the covered porch, host afternoon barbecues on the gas grill (with two coolers provided for you), and bask in the golden hour light on the sun-splashed patio.
The interior is spread out across a single level, with the living room offering leather furnishings, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV (with streaming only). But you'll probably have the most fun in the saloon room, where you can relax by another electric fireplace, play games, and sidle up to the kitchen's breakfast bar in saddle bar stools. The compact kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher, but it's equipped with every essential for preparing homemade meals.
Of the bedrooms, one has an electric fireplace and a desk workspace where you can log onto the complimentary WiFi in peace. A private washer/dryer and hair dryers in both bathrooms are provided as well.

There is no AC (heating only).
The TVs are for streaming only (no cable).
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
