Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was clean, the host was waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The kitchen had all the necessary bits - plenty of cutlery, crockery, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a coffee machine with fresh beans provided - very nice! The dining room is big and plenty of space. We didn't use the BBQ place or the hot tub so can't comment on them. The weather was not great on the day we went with the steam train - the Mocănița - but it didn't dampened our spirits and the trip was still amazing. By the way, the place is ideally suited for the train ride as it is about 5-6 minutes gentle walk to the station.

Negative: The rooms could have 1-2 more hooks strategically placed. Not a deal breaker, but we would have found it useful. Also, I was not aware that it is a comunal kitchen. Again, not a major issue, but maybe clearer description would have helped us cater better for ourselves. Lastly, the living/dining room has also two guest rooms off it, and as it is open-plan and resonant, it makes it difficult to have a decent conversation without disturbing other guests. Not sure if there is an easy solution to this, but I thought I would mention it, just in case... Still, overall we had a great time - rain, thunderstorm and all!
