Positive: Apartment situates in its own building but is a part of bigger complex (7 or 8 apartments). All apartments are own by different owners. Owner of this apartment is very nice person and good host but does not live near by. We never met in person as our arrival was late but she was available by phone all the time. Also the neighbours (german, brits etc.) are very friendly and helpful. Apartment has two rooms, kitchen and bathroom with shower. It was good for 2 adults and one child. Nothing special, yet pretty much everything you need. Clean sheets and towels were provided for all. Location was very good for us as we wanted to make day trips by car. Pisa, Firenze, Assisi and even Pitigliano are within reach. Pool was good size and was cleaned weekly by professionals. It is shared by all apartments, but there was at most four other users. Most of the time we were only users. Parking was covered and about 10 meters from front door.
Negative: For us the worst thing was lack of air conditioning or any kind of fans. There was extreme heat wave during our stay and the temperature at midnight was around 30 which made sleeping impossible even with all the windows open. The road the the house was quite bad, especially the last part which is uphill and suffered from the rains. House has five doors to enter/exit and all of them have different key. Pool has also a key among others - not very user friendly. One must walk through the bedroom to enter the bathroom - annoyance during the night or early in the morning. There was a wasp nest in the rain gutter (etc.) and many wasps flying around the front of the building (I counted around 30). Also the lighting in the kitchen could be improved, especially above the stove. Extension cord would be nice as there is only on socket in the bedroom (used for lighting - no ceiling lamp)
Summary: Highly recommended for "authentic" italian living, nice scenery and pool
