Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It is a very old farmhouse and the garden has lemon trees, grape trees, orange trees and lots of flowers. The house is huge, lots of room inside and out and the landlord and his wife are very welcoming. The pool is gorgeous and very private. Its almost a perfect place to stay, very beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of fans in the house which are highly needed as there is no aircon so it can get very hot. Don't expect it to be modern, it is an old farmhouse and as such the interior reflects this, but it is big, clean and functional. It feels very homey and welcoming.

Negative: No aircon is a bit of a struggle at night when very hot. If you have a car the location is fantastic but without a car it would be more difficult to get around. It is very close to the restaurant Aubergine (walkable, so easy enough to get taxi's from there as we found it difficult to order taxis to the house).

Summary: Rustic, peaceful, welcoming, spacious and simply beautiful
