Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Bower’s hideout. It is a very characterful, unique place that is well thought out well looked after. Excellent location, right near the supermarket, with beautiful views of the hills and lovely outdoor areas including a peaceful rotunda in the garden. The thoughtful extras made the stay even better - great selection of tea, coffee, milk provided, and clear instructions on both access and how everything functioned. Felt very safe as a solo traveler. It is a very special place with a very friendly (but non intrusive) owner. So glad I chose it over a hotel, and hope to come back some day.
