Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location in the middle of Le Marais. Walking distance to Notre Dame and the 1st Arrondisement. The room itself had everything you needed (except shower gel) and no dust. It was warm during the winter.
Negative: Mould in the shower room that needs to be cleaned well as there is a definite unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The bed is not the most comfortable as you sink right into it but it does the job - will not be comfortable after more than 2-3 nights. The room is also not very soundproof so you can hear everything the neighbours are talking about. Also be aware that it is on the third floor up some very rickety and dark spiral staircases.
Summary: Amazing location but not comfortable for more than a couple of nights. Needs mould removing.
