Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: North Farm Cottages are in a quiet, rural situation with a small garden that is available for guests to use. Wisteria and clematis were in full flower when we were staying, which was special. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable.

Negative: The central heating thermostat stopped working during our stay and I reported this to Shane, as using the number on the email. There was no answer so I left a message explaining the problem. However, I have had no response, which is very disappointing. The shower head was difficult to adjust, so the flow was either too strong or too weak; the kitchen floor was dirty and there was no provision for cleaning the kitchen surfaces - the kitchen generally seemed rather neglected.

Summary: This property has great potential but needs closer attention to raise it to high standard throughout
