Summary: This home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family, which is what I was looking for — hard to find in this area. The backyard is very pleasant and enjoyable. The location is great, within walking distance to the ocean and many restaurants. But the home itself needs a lot of updating. The carpet is very dirty and needs replacing. The home smells musty as other reviews noted. The front door feels like it will break off because the handle is very wobbly. The bathrooms have severe lime buildup. If these things don’t bother you and you are fine with this for a few days then it’s ok. But for these reasons I couldn’t stay here again. Also it’s run by a large property management company and I found it difficult to communicate with them. For example I could not get access information about the home until two hours before check in time. When I asked for an early check it they told me it would be subject to a fee. I haven’t found this to be the case with any other VRBO owner and it was not cool. I talked to some lady who said she’d have to call the property manager and get an answer to my question, which was annoying. Felt like I was dealing with a hotel and that’s why I’m not staying at a hotel! Hope this review is helpful to future guests and the owner of the property as well.
