This Beautiful View Abode hosted by the Dickson family is a DAYLIGHT WALKOUT BASEMENT rental located on top of a large hill overlooking the amazing Kootenai Valley. Relax on the private covered patio while enjoying breathtaking elevated views, or enjoy a nap in one of the many hammocks located in the timbered forest just footsteps away. This comfy abode is 5 minutes from Dawson lake and Perkins Lake, and is just minutes from numerous forest service hiking trails, recreational sites, and 30 minutes from Canada.
This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full laundry, full kitchen daylight basement rental sleeps 4 people maximum of 5 with the 5th guest sleeping on an available air mattress. We also have a pack-n-play available for a little one. Also available is a queen blow up mattress for the living room area if the 3rd and 4th guests wish to sleep outside of the bedroom. Free Wifi is also available as well as limited complimentary snacks, coffee and beverages. Enjoy your evenings around a nice campfire (firewood provided) while watching the sun set over the Selkirk Mountains, or take some naps in the hammocks within the forested trees while the hummingbirds, deer and other wildlife do their thing on this beautiful 10 acre piece of paradise.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE, AND NO PETS!
The inside wood stove is for winter use only from October to March. The home has central air-conditioning and heating. A Beautiful View Abode has parking for 2 vehicles and room for your boat if you decide to do some boating/fishing on the nearby lakes.
Upon arrival, you may be greeted by our loving, playful outside Labrador Retrievers Tikka (Chocolate) and Beau (Yellow). If you would like Tikka and Beau kenneled, we will be more than happy to place them in their kennel during your stay upon request. We (The Dickson's, Family of 6) live above and are available for any needs that may arise during your stay. There is a play area for kids that you are welcome to use. Guests who stay in A Beautiful View Abode may occasionally hear children at play upstairs.
