This custom family home is a dreamy alpine retreat with Heavenly Mountain Resort and Stateline fun just a short drive away. For all your skiing needs, your vacation home is also conveniently close to Heavenly Ski Resort and Stagecoach. The property backs up to forestland, and at the end of the block, you'll find hiking and biking trails leading to Nevada Beach. The Kahle community center has a large field, a playground, an indoor gym, and activities for all ages. For additional fun outside, bring your clubs and hit the fairway at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Resort (two miles) after a short drive. Guests can enjoy snow sports that include snowboarding and skiing, and there are endless warm-weather activities such as lake fishing, horseback riding, boating, and rafting to indulge in around South Lake Tahoe as well. Kahle Community Center is less than a mile away, Nevada Beach is three miles away, and Heavenly Sports and Heavenly Mountain Resort are both less than four miles from the home.
The 4,250-square-foot floor plan spans four sunlit levels. Gather in the sun-soaked great room detailed with plush furniture, a TV, and a gas fireplace. The living area offers a comfortable sectional for lounging plus a TV of its own. The kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a roomy French-door fridge, two ovens, a gas range, and a pair of wine fridges. The space there offers generous seating, so have everyone gather there for a meal together. The big backyard is a woodland wonderland with ample seating, a playground, and cornhole. For a change of pace, have the group chef throw something on the grill and sear it to perfection, then dine alfresco together. After eating, take a soak in the hot tub or relax on one of the three balconies. When it's time to retire for the evening, all the bedrooms are guaranteed to please guests. Among them, two suites have TVs, gas fireplaces, and spa-like en suite bathrooms. A crib is also available for those traveling with little ones.
