Summary: I enjoyed my stay at Kim’s place. My husband and I traveled with our kids and elderly mom. The location was perfect for us to get to downtown, Junkanoo Beach, Fish Fry, Magaritaville Waterpark, anf BahaMar, and other tourist attractions. We just hoped on the bus which was less than a 5 mins walk. It was just across the street. The location is perfect because we had plenty restaurants within walking distances literally just outside the apartment. The supermarket which was around the corner was a plus because we stayed for 8 days. I would go there in the morning and buy breakfast for 6 for between $20-30. We were also able to get medicine when my 7 month old had a runny nose. Taxi service is close by. There’s a Starbucks, Sushi restaurant, subway, Sbarro Italian restaurant, and several Bahamian restaurants within walking distance. Also if you don’t want to go to far for the beach , Cable beach is a short walk straight down. Beautiful! Our host Kim went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and provided us with a list of things we could do during their Independence celebration. She also provided snacks, water, and the house was full of essentials we needed. There were toys and books for the kids. I high chair and sleeping cot for my infant. The TVs had games and several apps to enjoy movies and shows for days your too tired to go out. I recommend this place for short or long stays. Kim is a Super Host and the location is perfect.
