Positive: The cottage was out of this world. We were supplied with a mobile contact number which replied to my Whatsapp message in minutes (due to travel issues we were going to arrive later than I stated by several hours). The cottage is quirky, but in a beautiful way. Full hand written instructions regarding cooker, heating, wood burning stuff etc are brilliant. Clear and to the point. We certainly intend to return again as often as possible, even though it took us 14 hrs to get there from our home in France. The village and surrounding areas are spectacular. The local people are so fantastically friendly and helpful. Pubs, cafes , restaurant etc are wonderful, try the Indian on Friday and Saturdays, phone and collect. The food is delicious. One little corner shop which was all we needed plus a marvelous butchers hmmm, the sausages and burgers were superb

Negative: Without a car it can be a little difficult but we were fine with what buses there were and a few taxi's.
