The cabin is set on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood with a private yard, great to relax and recharge. Enjoy the deer, wild turkeys, gray squirrels, and birds galore from the comfort of the sunroom or on an inviting outdoor bench. Hiking and biking trails are plentiful, one of which is a short walk from the cabin. In the winter, a seasonal creek occasionally runs through the property.
The cabin is 1,080 square feet with 2 bedrooms and one bath. It also has a spacious sunroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a queen and twin bed and there is a pull-out twin in the sunroom couch. The cabin has a gas grill and enough parking for your boat. The kitchen is equipped with a variety of cooking equipment including pots, pans, dishes, cups, toaster, crockpot, and much more. A variety of board game options and wifi.
Wishon is located in the Sierra National Forest in the Bass Lake Annex, just south of the Bass Lake Dam. The cabin is just over two miles to the Crane Valley Dam (Bass Lake) and boat launch. Millers Landing is 2.6 miles, and it offers seasonal boat rentals, a restaurant, delicious ice cream, and even music on some nights in the summer. If you continue up Road 222 there are several places to enjoy the lake from the shore. There are also plenty of hiking and biking trails in the area. A trailhead to a trail leading to the dam is located just a quarter-mile walk from the cabin. In addition to Bass Lake, there’s also Manzanita Lake. Yosemite Kings Canyon National Parks are within a short drive. Note, at this time Yosemite requires reservations for entry.
