Positive: We stayed for 7 nights. The apartment is brand new, everything is clean and looks very fresh. Very comfortable furniture, two bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. Fast WiFi. Comfortable dining table in the kitchen that we also used as a work desk: there is enough space for two people to put laptops and work there simultaneously. The host is very attentive and was always available to answer our questions and offer help. Split mall is a 10 minute walk which is very convenient. You can’t walk to a beach but a bus station is close to the apartment and any beach is accessible within 20-40 minutes for 1€. There is a small mini-market right in front the house that can satisfy your basic grocery needs.
Negative: Lack of large bath towels. Lack of large coffee/tea mugs. On the last night of our stay there was a concert of some kind in the neighborhood so the music was pretty loud until 1am. Not sure if it’s a regular thing or a one time venue. There is a school nearby so you can hear occasional noises from the playground. The noise thing is obviously out of host's control and not his fault.
Summary: Great apartment - I will return if I am an in Split again
