Summary: This house had everything we needed to have family of 4 + grandparents feeling comfortable, with enough space where folks weren't on top of each other at all. 2 living areas, both very comfortable, plus enough bedrooms with really nice amenities. But who am I kidding? You will realize as soon as you go up the driveway that you'll be spending all your time on the enormous deck facing the amazing view. You might want to cancel some of the plans you made for the area and spend time enjoying the view, the fire pit, the view, the thoughtful outdoor games, stargazing and just relaxing. Did I mention the view? But if you do keep your plans, there is so much in the area. Jasper is a cute little town with a great pizza place, a grocery, and a couple other restaurants. This is a great base camp to explore the many hikes in the area and there are more of those than you can shake a stick at, many of which are easy for novice hikers and some of which are challenging for an experienced one. The Buffalo river is nearby with lots of outfitters within minutes. Branson is close enough for a day trip where you won't be exhausted by the drive but so nice to return to the countryside and not be trapped in the crowds there. Overall, I highly recommend the area and this house as a place to explore and enjoy it from.
