Positive: The cabin itself was gorgeous! The inside wood was incredible and it was clear they have been making renovations to the lower level of the cabin.
Negative: Unfortunately several bathrooms didn't have toilet paper and there wasn't any available in any cabinet throughout the house. We absolutely looked everywhere that wasn't locked. We ended up bringing it upstairs from the basement bathroom so we had some upstairs. We also weren't provided with paper towels or napkins. Our main bathroom (master bath) on the upstairs level didn't have hand soap. It was pure water on the hand soap pump. I will also say the pillows were completely flat in every room. For my 5 year old to comment on this is unfortunately rough. Unfortunately there was a lamp that was flickering in the living room and when I checked on the outlet, the plug was askew and when I tried to plug it in further, the entire cover fell off. I also was concerned with the amount of dead bugs, dog hair, and tennis balls that were not ours. Also we had to wash our dishes before we used them because they were dirty. We were told to put dishes in the dish washer before we left as a check out item and there wasn't a dish washer. We washed all of our dishes by hand and put them back. Honestly, our main concern was that one of our check out items was that we needed to take out our trash to the designated cans outside and they were already full of trash. It is a BEAUTIFUL house, I just think it needs more attention from the owners.
