This unique and secluded bungalow is the perfect combination of privacy, a family getaway, and a couple's oasis. The interior is tastefully upcycled and newly renovated. This retreat is nestled between the popular tourist cities of Grand Haven and Holland, Michigan; both bustling in the summertime! Central to everything, the location of this home just sings comfortable, serene, and peaceful.
Enter the home through either the main entrance or mudroom entrance, and immediately notice the brand new interior with vintage reclaimed barn wood. At Least 60% of the wood features throughout the home have been hand milled from a 100+ year-old barn. The wood was transported and meticulously finished and hung to add charming touches throughout the home. Notice the beautiful, durable Italian tile work in the laundry and bath areas as well.
The entire home has all new appliances, decor, bedding, furniture, flooring, paint, electricity, and HVAC systems for cleanliness and safety. The laundry area and kitchen are equipped with full-sized new appliances, pots & pans, dishes, and anything you can need. There’s a 2 stall garage, with garage entry into the home (great for a summer rainy day). The kitchen area has an open concept that leads to the living room with cable and a flat-screen TV.
The backyard property is on a sharp slope that would be great for tiny hikers to explore. There’s a boat and kayak launch nearby if you’d like to bring some “toys” along. In addition, at the waterside, it’s a five-minute drive to the semi-private beach area (only residents can access) equipped with a toddler playground. There are multiple nearby beautiful parks with walking trails (some paved), organic blueberry farms, and scenic overlooks, including Michigan's famous lakefront sunset views.
