Positive: The house is so charming and we appreciated it's original details. The deck with the view of the marsh was wonderful! We loved the outdoor spaces! The proximity to the beach was convenient.
Negative: Although it's charming, the house is old and there is certainly nothing luxurious about it. The kitchen needs major updating. There is almost no workspace, and the sink and countertop look cobbled together. The living room needs more comfortable furniture. There is one sofa, and the 4 chairs are like dining chairs. Our family of 4 could not all comfortably sit together. The room needs a second sofa, or a couple of comfortable club chairs. There is room for more seating, and they really need to make that a more family-friendly space. Also, renters need to be aware that one of the bedrooms is off of the screened in porch and you cannot access it from inside the house.
Summary: We had a great trip! Overall, the house was fine, but it's priced too high for its condition.
