ROOM #3 is a private room with a queen-sized bed and a firm mattress. It is comfortably appointed with a chair, dresser, closet and small TV as well as its own entrance that opens out into the garden area. Often people gather for fresh coffee & conversation in the morning but there are plenty of private spots on the deck to sit back & enjoy the tropical garden.
The 2 things that people appreciate most about us are:

We are located on the upper East side of town, in a safe residential area 5 blocks from the Old Santa Barbara Mission and Rose Garden, minutes from the bus stop. A 10 minute walk through the park will bring you to restaurants, markets, and the heart of Santa Barbara where there plenty of shopping, sight-seeing, and great restaurants. Local bus service (costing .50 cents!) runs up & down State Street to the beach making it easy if you do not have a car. (Plenty of street parking)
While you are here, you are welcome to join us and use the kitchen for preparing simple meals or heating up water for tea or coffee, and there is a microwave at your disposal.
Our household currently includes 1 little dog, Jack Rabbit who is a Chihuahua / dachshund mix with a big personality. Besides him, there are 4 of us who share the house. I lived in Hawaii for many years and had a great Bed & Breakfast on Maui which is still operating but with different owners now. I’m comfortable with people and love sharing my home, stories and helping others enjoy being in our town. It’s a peaceful place that will refresh you at the end of your busy day and we’d be delighted to share our bit of paradise with you!
