Relax with the whole family in 36 acres one hour west of Houston, 30 minutes from Round Top. Main home has 3 BR and 2-1/2 baths. Huge central area with kitchen, formal dining, family room, wonderful bar, shuffle board, pinball, jukeboxes. Freshly built guest house has 2 BR, 2 baths, small kitchen, large tv with high-end reclining theater seats. Hiking trails, stocked pond, outdoor kitchen and sitting area. Beautiful swimming pool. Outstanding views
The space
This is a 36 acre ranch that is truly "heaven on earth". Wonderful serene views, with over a quarter mile of paved roads , stocked two-acre pond, 3 additional smaller ponds, wonderful hiking in the woods. Great location to watch the stars in a clear night. Ranch is being developed as a wild-life preserve. Plenty of birds, deer, armadillos. Beautiful rolling hills.
Guest access
There is enough parking for at least 10 vehicles. 3 car garage is fully occupied and not available to the guests. A hardware store (which includes a grocery section) is within 10 minutes of the property. Does not open on Sunday. Medical services available in Belleville, a 30 minute drive.
Other things to note
Secure access to property with electric gate. Home has a full security system (Ring). Motor home usually parked next to the main house but not available to guests. If hiking in the woods, bring some boots as there is a possibility of running into a snake (this is Texas after all).
