Spacious 4 season contemporary colonial home located at beautiful Lake Willoughby in Westmore Vermont that includes semi private beach access at the end of the driveway. The downstairs of the home has a renovated kitchen with new cabinets, granite counters, a gas range, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, crock pot and coffee maker. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils to make your own home cooked meals. There’s a butcher block breakfast island with stools and a large dining table in the dining area. The living room has huge floor to ceiling windows that offer a great view of the beautiful two acres of Vermont nature and tranquility. There is a 60’ TV mounted on the wall with access to Netflix, Youtube TV and Amazon prime for those family movie nights. There is a screened 3 season porch off of the living area that is perfect for summer dinners or a relaxing nap while listening to the School House Brook that flows through the back of the property. Rounding out the downstairs is a new ½ bathroom and a huge family room with stone front, gas fireplace that is perfect for cozy relaxing evenings.
The upstairs features beautiful, knotty pine finished walls, four bedrooms plus a spacious loft area with more beds. There are two full bathrooms, one with a tub and shower and one with a shower.
The property is two acres of private wooded land bordered by a beautiful, bubbling brook and overlooks gorgeous Lake Willoughby. At the end of the long driveway across the road is a grassy right of way to a sandy, serene, private beach. There is also a public beach 3/4 mile down the road as well.
The home is located 25 minutes to Burke Mountain, 60 minutes to Jay Peak and a few miles away to hiking trails at Mt Pisgah and Mt Hor. There are also several golf courses nearby. Lake Willoughby is one of the most beautiful lakes in Vermont. Enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating and more.
