One and one-half miles to the famous 'wild and scenic' Chattooga River which offers excellent trout fishing and local Sliding Rock. Nothing in the world beats good pan-fried trout. There are lots of great hiking trails close-by...

Cashiers gets a good bit of rain and there is nothing like sitting on the covered front porch curled up with your favorite book while listening to and watching the rain. Both are wonderful scenic drives.
