One of the most active lakes in Alaska with 2 state parks, marina, waterfront dining, boat and toy rentals. Fish for rainbow trout off the large dock or in one of our Kayaks or Paddle Boat. A bird watchers summer paradise! Centrally located in the Mat Su valley, with day trips to Talkeetna, Hatcher Pass, Matanuska Glacier and many more. Your Hosts, Mike and Theresa, lifelong Alaskan's live next door and can answer to any of your questions or needs. The 2 separate living rooms offer privacy for multi family use. Flat screen OTA TV's in the bedrooms and both living rooms. There are DVD players with a large selection of DVD's for you enjoyment. Basic WiFi included. You can take the party outside on our large deck. Propane fire pit provided and a big dock with lots of room to tie up your water toys or fish off with fishing poles and tackle provided. 2 Kayaks and a Paddle Boat at your disposal to explore the lake and a couple of Bicycles with miles of paved bike paths right out the door. Centrally located in the Matanuska Valley, prior guests have Salmon Chartered, Zip Lined, Heli Toured, Rode on a Dog Sled, Bear and Moose viewed, Glacier Hiked, White Water Rafted, Flew over Denali and so much more.
