Summary: A very pleasant and historical hotel. Decor and architecture were top notch. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There were nice seating areas both upstairs and downstairs outside. Pool and bar were very good. The staff were very good and the restaurant staff very friendly and pleasant. Frank and Laura some of our servers were very professional and friendly and the food was good and well priced. There was a serviceable gym. The hotel was outside the main part of Malaga about 35 minutes away but there was a bus 19 every 30 minutes. The bus stop was via the back of the hotel across an industrial area. We were lucky that we came in by bus from the city as it is not obvious. The main reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is that the location is in an industrial area with no walkable activities outside the hotel. Access walking across the industrial park looked uncared for with overgrown grass and minimal lighting. Breakfast was also not included in our booking.
