Positive: We adored this cottage. Spacious, immaculately clean, freshly furnished and fully equipped. Fabulous beds. Great little kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed the rain shower, and it was brilliant to be able to park so close to the front door. Perfect spot for those wanting to visit ZooParc de Beauval. Wish we’d stayed longer.

Negative: Didn’t realise when booking that there was an extra fee for cleaning (haven’t seen a separate fee elsewhere in France or Europe more generally, but it seems to be typical of the area - I probably just didn’t read the policy closely enough). Fortunately there’s the option to clean it yourself instead with all the equipment and products provided, so it all worked out fine.
