Welcome to the City of Brotherly Love!
I have traveled with AirBnb for years and enjoy welcoming travelers to my SoCal-meets-South of France 1920s home located in a lovely residential neighborhood Northwest of Center City Philadelphia. Step outside to enter the Gorgas Lane entrance to the gigantic Wissahickon park with hiking, walking, and mountain biking trails along the calm Wissahickon Creek. 20 minute walk to shopping of Manayunk. #27 bus to City Hall in 25 minutes.
The space
There are three bedrooms upstairs and a full bath on each floor of the house. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have queen mattresses. The third bedroom offers a futon with a pillow top. This would be an ideal listing for a family.
Downstairs is a living room with a brand new Raymour & Flanagan linen sofa (not a pull out, but very comfy to sleep on) and large, open-concept, well-lit, well stocked kitchen.
Photos show the back patio with large umbrella, grill, and patio furniture. In the summer, I grow a full herb garden and vegetables plants. Guests are welcomed with fresh produce from the garden in season.
The space is ideal for travelers who prefer a relatively quiet stay in a relatively quiet, family, neighborhood.
